I thought I’d give this a shot without looking at how its done first of all and then try following a tutorial. The slightly more blurred version is my unguided attempt. For that I used the freehand selection tool with a 50 feather, contrast, curves, saturation, Sharpen filter on the center, gausian blur, lens blur.
